Megan Thee Stallion was taken to the hospital Tuesday after feeling sick during a performance of her Broadway show.
“During Tuesday night’s production of (Moulin Rouge! The Musical), Megan began feeling very ill and was immediately taken to a local hospital, where her symptoms are being evaluated,” a spokesperson for the rapper said in a statement to People magazine.
“We will share additional updates as more information becomes available,” a representative said.
Additionally, the “WAP” hitmaker’s hairstylist, Kellon Derrick, wrote to X, “Everyone praying for Megan, we are all in the hospital.”
On March 31, “Breakfast Club” host Lorraine LaRosa caused concern among fans when she tweeted that Megan had suddenly left the stage during a Broadway performance.
“Come to see Meg the Stallion on Broadway and it was short-lived,” the journalist tweeted.
Lauren continued, “I loved seeing him on stage in the first few scenes! I was excited but… he stopped ‘Moulin Rouge’ midway through the show and apologized to the audience and said… ‘Stay inside and stay seated.’ I asked security if we were safe.. They told us ‘For now, we will update you if anything changes.'”
