    Deadly new strikes across the Middle East overnight and Thursday roiled energy markets, sending crude prices as high as $107 in early trading. Hopes for a quick end to the conflict diminished as President Trump spoke of “ongoing” discussions with Tehran as well as strikes over the next “two to three weeks.” Civilians across the region are suffering suffering and displacement.
