Leggings-and-Sneakers Outfits LA Girls Wear

If you’ve spent even a little time in Los Angeles, you’ve probably noticed that its reputation is true: It really is a Pilates, matcha, Erehhon-obsessed culture. And just as the culture of a city and the activities that go on there often dictate what people wear, the same goes for the LA translation: You’re going to see a lot of leggings and sneakers outfits worn by its residents. Of course, the dress has different iterations, and while I don’t often see it worn by L.A.’s hottest It girls, it was just seen on Margot Robbie and Kaia Gerber.

Both girls above were photographed wearing the It-girl leggings outfit formula: a sweatshirt, leggings, crew socks, and trendy sunglasses and the designer bag of their choice. As far as sneakers go, LA girls often forgo trendy styles when wearing leggings, instead opting for a pair of thick athletic sneakers, usually from New Balance, Asics, Salomon, Alo or Nike. The low-key outfit works for both workouts and work and never looks out of date or overly fashionable.
