US actress Blake Lively is ‘devastated’ after her legal defeat against Justin Baldoni, a Hollywood expert has claimed, adding that she is “ready to fight back.”
A federal judge on Thursday dismissed Blake Lively’s harassment claims in her lawsuit against actor and director Justin Baldoni.
The 152-page ruling by U.S. District Judge Lewis Liman followed more than a year of bitter litigation over the film, which co-starred Lively and Baldoni and which Baldoni directed.
Following the major development, expert Rob Shuter has claimed Lively is facing a crushing defeat in court – but don’t expect her to back down.
“She’s devastated. This is not the outcome she expected,” the insider told Rob.
Sources further said that emotions were running high behind the scenes.
Blake Lively is ‘angry’ and “feels like her story is not being fully heard,” her close confidant tells the expert.
However, the insider shared that “Blake isn’t leaving. She’s digging in.”
meanwhile, reuters One of her layers is quoted as saying that Lively is “eager to testify,” and is showing efforts made to destroy her reputation “as she stood up for safety on the set.”
However, Baldoni’s lawyers said they were happy to dismiss the harassment claims and all claims against the five individual defendants.
The defendants have strongly denied wrongdoing.
