Paul Rudd has finally revealed the secret to his healthy skin and routine after countless memes circulated on the internet about his youthful look.
The star is most famous for his leading role as Ant-Man in several films marvel cinematic universe Along with films, he also had popular performances in comedy films. Anchorman, Knocked Up and the iconic 1995 cult classic, Stranger.
Rudd, who also appeared as Phoebe Buffay’s future husband Mike Hannigan on the hit sitcom Friend, Will celebrate his 57th birthday on 6th April.
Despite approaching the age of 60, her youthful looks remain a topic of discussion, with her name even being People magazine’s “Sexiest Man Alive” in 2021.
But there are three simple priorities that have helped her maintain her health and youthful appearance: sleep, diet, and stability.
One Reddit user drew a comparison between him and the late American actor Wilford Brimley, who died in 2020 and was famous for usually portraying characters much older than his actual age.
The user shared photos of both actors, with Rudd, who is seven years older than Brimley, still looking quite youthful thanks to his full head of black hair and style.
The text added to the photos read: “Paul Rudd is seven years older than Wilford Brimley in the movie Cocoon and I need to sit down.”
The accompanying caption simply asked: “How is it that Paul Rudd keeps looking so young?”
In the comments section, fellow Reddit users offered their opinions and theories. One person said: “Genetics, money, probably doesn’t drink or smoke, probably stays sober.”
Another wrote, “Add a good skin care routine to that mix.”
“Probably a combination of genetics, good self-care, and the fact that he hasn’t adopted the ‘old’ look. He still wears the clothes, has the hairstyle, has the body language, and has the general attitude of a much younger person,” someone else noted.
Meanwhile, in an interview with Men’s Health, Paul Rudd outlined his three top health priorities – sleep, diet and stability, which are the traits that keep him looking healthy.
When questioned about “the secret of the superhero body” and “eternal youth”, his response was simple, “sleep”, “then diet, then weights, then cardio,” but emphasized that “the most important part of training is sleep”.
The star also eats eggs every day and enjoys protein shakes made with “just protein and water, no fruit.” The actor finds consistency in these steps and routines “comforting” and noted, “Routine is a human need. It’s based in a really positive and healthy way.”
