The former Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson has been issued a stern warning over her possible plans to write a memoir.
According to a report by radar onlineA publishing insider has warned Princess Eugenie and Beatrice’s mother not to “bother” pursuing any royal revenge memoir, saying “it’s just not worth it in the long run.”
The source says, “There have certainly been discussions about whether she might try to pursue what some are calling a ‘royal revenge plot’ with another book, but the guidance she’s been getting has been pretty straightforward — ‘Don’t bother,’ because it’s not worth it to her in the long run.”
“From an industry perspective, the calculation is quite clear,” the close confidant said, adding, “Any potential financial gains or short-term attention will likely outweigh the reputational risks, especially given the level of scrutiny she currently faces.”
Writing a memoir is seen as a move that could cause more harm than good, the source warned.
“And she will eliminate any possibility of King Charles keeping quiet about what he knows about the royal family,” the insider explained to Sarah.
Furthermore, it has been suggested that any attempt to address the Epstein scandal in detail would be particularly risky.
He explained, “There are many highly complex and sensitive issues connected to Sarah’s past relationships, and attempting to fully address them in a business book format would be incredibly challenging.”
