There has been wild speculation on social media for weeks as to what character Chris Perfetti will play in DTF St. Louis.
Now, when episode 6, titled The Danny’s Plan, has dropped, he has stepped out of the shadows.
The star, best known for starring in Abbott Elementary, has made his debut where fans were least expecting it.
What unfolds in episode 6 is that Clark Forrest (Jason Bateman) and Floyd Semernich (David Harbour) go to Chicago to find someone to go on a date with at a Denny’s restaurant.
“Do you think you can get an erection from my friend for $900?” Clark asked Terry, the random waiter at the scene, leaving him confused and worried.
But when Clarke is desperate to find a potential lover, Perfetti’s unnamed character enters, saying, “I’ll do it.”
This isn’t the only shocking thing that happened in this episode.
Later, Perfetti’s character took the alias ‘Tiger Tiger’ on the dating app featured in the show and traveled to St. Louis to meet Floyd.
However, a disaster was waiting.
When ‘Tiger Tiger’ arrived at the scene, he was shocked by what he saw: Floyd, in person, was completely different from what Clark had shown him in the photographs.
In response, Perfetti’s on-screen character panicked and walked away, leaving Clark in an awkward tight spot.
Forced by the situation, Bateman’s character confesses to Floyd that he had paid someone to boost his confidence.
This ending got fans excited for the finale, which will air on April 12.
