Will Shubman Gill play in the upcoming match of Gujarat Titans (GT) against Delhi Capitals (DC) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi? There are doubts ahead of the DC vs GT match of IPL 2026 as the Gujarat captain missed the previous match due to muscle cramps.
In Gill’s absence, GT lost the match to Rajasthan Royals. Without Shubman in the lineup, the team was forced to replace the opening pair for good. Along with their regular opening batsman, Sai Sudarshan, the team added another emerging batsman, Kumar Kushagra, to face the new ball. Sudarshan played well, but the young opener failed to impress and scored 18 runs off 14 balls.

Ahead of Gujarat Titans’ upcoming match, Sai Sudarshan gave an update about his captain. Sudarshan confirmed that his leader is all set to play against Delhi Capitals. “Shubman is performing well. He will play tomorrow,” Sudarshan said in the pre-match press conference.
