The Capitaland Ascendas REIT (“CLAR”) rights issuance is priced at S$2.35 per unit, an immediate capital gain, following the recently announced 2-week ceasefire between the US and Iran and the market price of S$2.57 per unit as of April 8, 2026 (Wednesday). S$0.22 per unit or +9.36%. I thought it was no big deal that everyone would rush to subscribe for their allotment. It seems that obtaining additional units will be extremely challenging.
