Colonel Saud Abdulaziz al-Otaibi, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Defence, said: “The armed forces, during the last (24) hours, monitored and dealt with a number (4) of hostile ballistic missiles and a number (42) of hostile drones within Kuwaiti airspace, and they were handled in accordance with established procedures.
“In addition to targeting power stations and water desalination plants, several facilities affiliated with Kuwait Petroleum Corporation have been targeted as a result of the Iranian aggression.
“The armed forces, along with various relevant authorities, confirm that they are monitoring the situation minute by minute and are working round the clock with high efficiency and responsibility to deal with any threat or development in the area, continuing the same high readiness and full preparedness they have maintained since the beginning of the aggression.
“We urge everyone to seek information from authorized official sources and avoid being influenced by rumors or circulating misinformation due to its impact on public safety and security.”
