Google recently announced That it is now bringing two new features for Chrome usersWhich it says has been designed for a more convenient and productive browsing experience. More specifically, we’re referring to Chrome’s new vertical tabs and reading mode features, which are rolling out to users in select regions.
For vertical tabs, users will be able to right-click on any Chrome window and then select the “Show tabs vertical” option. According to Google this gives users a little more freedom to read full page titles and manage group tabs, making it ideal for multitasking. For Reading mode, users can right-click on any page and select the “Open in Reading mode” option and remove other page elements, converting the page to all-text view.
In other recent Google Chrome news, Google is considering testing Chrome lazy loading for video and audio elements in Chrome 148, which is expected to make a significant difference when browsing media-heavy sites. Instead of fetching each video and audio file as soon as the page opens, Chrome will now wait until you scroll closer to them before loading them, which should provide users with a smoother browsing experience with Chrome.
