The Los Angeles Police Department is asking for the public’s help finding a man who authorities say stabbed his parents to death in Woodland Hills.
According to an LAPD news release, at approximately 11 a.m. Monday, LAPD officers responded to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon in the 20500 block of Ventura Boulevard.
Police said officers found two people with non-life-threatening stab wounds and determined that the victims’ son, 32-year-old Adam Courtney Brown, was the suspect.
According to the release, Brown allegedly fled on foot and is known to have used Los Angeles County public transportation. He may also have ties to Palmdale, Hollywood and Woodland Hills.
Authorities said Brown is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. If seen, call 911.
Both victims were taken to hospital where one was reported to be in stable condition. Information about the condition of the second victim was not immediately available.
