even though bridgerton Starr, who said it was “definitely not an easy job”, admitted that it was the most comfortable work he had ever done on a film set.
She said: “Without a doubt, yes. When I was told we were shooting this movie in Australia, I thought, ‘Great, I’m going to learn to surf. It’s going to be very tropical and hot. It’s going to be so much fun.’
“As we were shooting I gradually realized that the climate in Melbourne was a bit cold and we were shooting in the middle of the Australian winter,” he recalled, “So, I left the beautiful, sunny June in London to go to Melbourne in the middle of winter, and that was really the beginning of the end.”
She also recalled that she had to wear three wetsuits and a “pregnancy belly” made up of a maternity dress and trench coat, which made the experience very difficult.
“The process of putting on a wetsuit is already hard enough, but wearing three and then a belly is almost impossible,” Phoebe revealed.
She continued, “Then I was immersed in very cold water that couldn’t be hot. If it was hot, you would see heat rising in it.
“So, it had to be cold, and I actually made friends with a hot hose that ran into my wetsuit every now and then,” fair play The actress said.
However, there was a sense of camaraderie with the crew, as everyone was in the same boat, as Phoebe Dynevor explained, “The beauty and fun of it was that the crew was in the water with us. They were in wetsuits, so we were all wet. It really felt like a team effort because we were all uncomfortable, not just the actors.”
