Back in March, Samsung announced the launch of the Samsung Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37, for example, a pair of midrange Android phones designed to take on rivals like the Pixel 10a and iPhone 17e. As such, both phones are now available for purchase in the United States, with prices starting at $450 for the Galaxy A37 and $550 for the A57.
In terms of hardware, both phones share a lot of the same specifications – both the Galaxy A57 and A37 feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass Victus+, as well as a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. They come with a similar-looking design compared to the metal on the A57, with the exception of a 5,000mAh battery and a plastic frame on the A37.
However, there are some differences, like the Galaxy A57 has an Exynos 1680 chip, the A37 has an Exynos 1480 processor. The Galaxy A57 also comes with a triple-camera setup that includes a 50MP main camera, a 50MP macro camera, and a 12MP ultra-wide camera, while the A37 swaps the 12MP ultra-wide camera for a lower-resolution 8MP sensor.
Samsung says it plans to provide up to six years of software support for the phone, which currently comes with Android 16 and One UI 8.5.
