Jimmy Kimmel on Friday took aim at US First Lady Melania Trump after she publicly denied any affair with late financier and convicted child sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
As recently as April 9, during an address at the White House, Melania said she had “never been friends” with Epstein and had no knowledge of his crimes. She also denied ever visiting his properties or traveling on his plane. He even claimed that any images linking him were misleading.
“I never had any knowledge of Epstein’s abuse of his victims,” ​​Melania told the press. “I was never involved in any capacity. I was not a participant, I was never on Epstein’s plane, and never went to his private island… I never had a friendship with Epstein.”
Melania has claimed that any overlap with Epstein was limited to shared social events and that claims of a deeper relationship are false.
“Donald and I were invited to the same parties as Epstein from time to time, because overlapping social circles in New York City and Palm Beach are common,” he said.
He later said, “Many false images and statements about Epstein and me have been circulating on social media for many years. Be careful what you believe. These images and stories are completely false.”

The late night host rightly questioned his statement and joked about why such a photo would be displayed in Epstein’s home.

Kimmel also mocked reports that Trump did not know about his wife’s speech in advance and used it as a punchline during his monologue.
