Prince Harry and Meghan Markle appear to be at odds over their future in the US, with insiders claiming the pair are increasingly “not on the same page”.
According to a new report, the Duchess of Sussex is focusing on rebuilding her Hollywood connections while the Duke wants to live a quiet life away from the spotlight.
talking with heat magazineAn insider said Meghan is keen to reconnect with influential figures like Kris Jenner and is also considering moving closer to celebrity hubs like Malibu or Calabasas, Los Angeles, to re-establish her place among Hollywood’s giants.
“The reality is that they’re not in a financial position to run two big homes, so they need to make an alternative,” the insider said.
She added, “If Harry still wants life on the beach she’s open to Malibu and she’s even saying that Calabasas might be a great fit, not least because they could live in the same neighborhood as Kris Jenner, and she’d really love to mend that relationship.”
However, he is reportedly less excited about returning to the intense Hollywood social scene and is instead pursuing a low-key lifestyle in Montecito.
“Harry is very resistant, he has no desire to be anywhere near Hollywood and he’s not keen on New York,” the source said of King Charles’ son.
“He would love it if he could get another position in London but the chances of that happening are almost zero, so he would prefer to stay there.
“It’s become a tug of war, but chances are Meghan will ultimately win, she usually does.”
