Former IPL multi-franchise star Riley Rossouw has moved to the PSL in the last few seasons. He has made a shocking claim, in which he has claimed that IPL is more of a movie than a cricket match.
Ever since the clash between the two boards, PCB and BCCI, both the franchise league tournaments have shared the same window, and players have had to choose between the two leagues. Since most players favor the IPL, the PSL has the reputation of only picking up players rejected in the IPL auction.
Therefore, many players who were previously part of IPL franchises and are now included in PSL teams have had controversial opinions. Recently, under-performing South African cricketer Riley Rossouw left a controversial opinion undermining the IPL in comparison to the PSL.

While playing for the Gladiators in this edition of the PSL, the eleventh edition of the competition, he was asked his opinion on the IPL and PSL, to which the former RCB cricketer gave a shocking statement.
Rossouw claimed, “The IPL is a much longer tournament, and the PSL is a much more compact tournament where the competition is much tougher. There’s obviously all of Bollywood behind the IPL, so it’s more of a movie than actual cricket.”
