Nicola Peltz has finally accepted a tribute to Brooklyn Beckham on their wedding anniversary from yesterday with a subtle and what may somehow seem like a minimalist gesture.
Taking to Instagram on Saturday, the 31-year-old billionaire heiress and actress reposted her husband’s tribute from late Thursday, April 9, which included a sweet card and white roses.
While David and Victoria Beckham’s eldest and estranged son Brooklyn wrote an emotional note about having “been through a lot together”, being “stronger than ever” and looking forward to “growing old together”, Nicola responded with just three emojis, including a heart, tears of joy and fingers crossed.
A few hours ago, the actress had also shared an inside look at how the married couple spent the day with their dogs.
“The coziest day with my kids,” the actress wrote alongside a carousel that began with a photo of her with her dogs, followed by another photo of her husband and the flowers he got her.
Other moments showed her treating herself with a sheet mask and enjoying a meal in her bed.
Brooklyn reiterated his love for her in the comments, writing, “Love you with all my heart xx,” to which she replied, “I love you more baby.”
Yet, his late acceptance failed to embrace the opportunity.
Even Nicola’s parents, Nelson and Claudia, showed more enthusiasm for the occasion as they sent the couple a separate bouquet of white roses to congratulate them on the milestone along with a joyful card.
The milestone comes as Brooklyn keeps his distance from his parents and siblings to support his partner. The aspiring chef also called out his family for publicly promoting that he was being “controlled” by his wife, which he denied, saying it was just the other way around.
“The story that my wife controls me is completely counterproductive. I have been controlled by my parents for most of my life,” he wrote in a fiery social media post on January 19, 2026.
He added, “I grew up with extreme anxiety. For the first time in my life, after moving away from my family, that anxiety has disappeared.”
He reiterated that he does not want to reconcile with his parents and that all negotiations between him and his family should be done through lawyers.
Before calling his parents, Brooklyn and his wife had been avoiding public gatherings with the Beckham family for more than a year. Even on the occasion of David’s 50th birthday, Brooklyn suggested just meeting in private to celebrate.
