If you’ve been following along, you’ll know that CLAR (CapitaLand Ascendas REIT, SGX:A17U) has been one of my main REIT holdings for some time. Currently I have 10,000 units and want to add more. So when the preferential offer came along $2.35 per unit – ~6.5% off previous VWAP – I didn’t need much convincing.
I have subscribed for 2,000 units, consisting of 280 units entitled at the ratio of 28 per 1000 units owned. Total Outlay: $4,700. Let me tell you about the deal and why I’m doing it.
