Former Prince Andrew is reportedly struggling to adjust to big changes in his personal life following the loss of his royal titles and the Royal Lodge.
According to sources, the move from Royal Lodge to Marsh Farm was a significant change in his living conditions and daily routine.
They said the former Duke of York’s behavior behind closed doors has appeared erratic at times, with an insider claiming King Charles’ brother is in an isolated state as he adapts to life away from the royals.
“It has become clear to those around Andrew how closely his identity was tied to his royal life for decades,” she said of Andrew, who lost his royal allowances because of his past relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.
He added, “Almost overnight, they have lost the structure that gave purpose to their days – their official duties, their position within the institution and even the familiarity of their Royal Lodge home.”
“It’s incredibly difficult to deal with that kind of sudden dislocation. It’s not just a change of circumstances, it’s a complete disruption of the routine and situation he was accustomed to, and there’s no clear way to change it.
“People who have seen him recently say it is clear from his demeanor that he is still struggling to come to terms with the extent to which his life has been changed.”
