He will not scream, shout, or make his voice heard on the street. Isaiah 42:2
Our Savior was the light of the world, but the world did not know him. He was constantly engaged in works of mercy, shedding light on the path of all; Yet he did not call upon those with whom he mixed to see his unique qualities, his self-denial, self-sacrifice and charity. The Jews did not praise such a life. They considered his religion worthless because it did not conform to their standard of piety.
They decided that Jesus Christ was not religious in spirit or character; Because their religion involved demonstrations, praying in public, and performing acts of charity for influence. They boasted about their good works, as do those who claim sanctification. They all must have understood that they were without sin. But the entire life of Jesus Christ was exactly the opposite. He neither wanted profit nor respect.
His wonderful works of healing were performed in the most quiet manner possible, although they could not restrain the enthusiasm of those who were the recipients of his great blessings. Humility and humility were the characteristics of his life. And it was because of His lowly conduct and humble conduct, which was so different from their behavior, that the Pharisees did not accept Him.
