Katy Perry has vehemently denied Ruby Rose’s sexual assault allegations.
The mother of a woman who made headlines on the Internet because of her romantic relationship with Justin Trudeau says Rose’s statements about alleged sexual abuse are dangerous lies.
Perry’s representative said, “The allegations being circulated on social media by Ruby Rose about Katy Perry are not only completely false, but dangerous reckless lies.”
The statement further said, “Ms. Rose has a well-documented history of making serious public allegations on social media against various individuals, whose claims have been repeatedly refuted by those named.”
“Katy Perry sexually assaulted me at Melbourne’s Spice Market nightclub. She gives what she thinks,” Rose previously wrote in response to a post by Complex Music.
She added, “While I’m so grateful that I took so much time to find my voice, it shows just how deep an impact trauma and sexual assault can have. Thank you for watching me.”
