Just days after being hospitalized following a shooting outside the Seminole Hard Rock in Hollywood on April 6, Offset is getting words of wisdom from his fans following the rapper’s energetic return to the stage, social media and casinos.
Not only did the wheelchair-dependent musician make a speedy comeback to perform over the weekend less than 48 hours after being discharged, the Migos member was also spotted riding a scooter at a casino and spending the money given to him by his estranged wife Cardi B for some financial assistance.
He even shared clips of himself driving onto the stage and a separate photoshoot before standing up to perform.
While Offset celebrated the moment online with posts like “real love” and “God is good thank you,” fans flooded social media with support, concern, and unforgivable sarcasm.
“Sir, keep them away from the casino,” one user wrote, referencing the casino stunt in which Cardi B called out Offset for spending money at the casino. Another joked, “Replace the casino with a gym,” while a third said, “Got a shot and went modeling.”
Some comments point to major concerns. “Gambling is a bad addiction I know firsthand,” one fan said, as another urged, “Be smart not to shoot up in a casino again after this.”
Others took a more supportive tone, with messages like, “We need more music from you, stay safe, there’s a whole culture behind you… we’re here,” and “The brothers are back with a new life.”
There are mixed reactions as the investigation into the shooting continues. Lil Tjay was briefly detained at the scene and charged with disorderly conduct, though no major charges have been filed yet.
