Prince William received advice from a royal expert that now that his brother Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are no more, he will need his cousins.
According to British journalist, broadcaster and royal commentator, Emily Andrews, the Prince of Wales will need Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie after he becomes king.
“Personally, I think Prince William will need both girls – whom I have met and I think are decent types – when he becomes monarch,” she wrote in an article for Woman & Home.
“Not as working royals but just to help the show,” he said.
However, multiple reports claim that William and his wife Kate Middleton are reportedly keeping their distance from the sisters amid the ongoing controversy over their parents, Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.
Eugenie has Beatrice, who recently faced scrutiny after her name was mentioned in the Epstein files in an alleged email sent by Fergie to the convicted sex offender.
Although it was claimed that Eugenie and Beatrice would not be affected by the Epstein controversy, the Princess of Wales is reported to be keeping her distance from Eugenie.
Sharing the reason behind this, royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams told the Daily Mail that Kate and the two sisters do not have much in common.
“Eugenie, in particular, seems close to (Prince) Harry,” he said.
Express reported that Kate and Eugenie both attended Marlborough College, however, their experiences there were very different.
When Eugenie was 18, it was reported that in 2008 she was caught “castrating” without clothes on the floor at the luxurious venue after a night of drinking.
“The girls were probably drinking in a local pub and decided to keep their hair down,” a staff member told The Sun.
“For some reason they took off their clothes and started dancing around. It was light-hearted and they were jumping up and down like nymphs.”
Another source shared, “It was nothing more than a high fiasco at the end of the term in May. A group of them were reprimanded and the matter was over.”
