Daniel Radcliffe is pining for his longtime partner Erin Drake.
The Harry Potter star, who has been in a relationship with actress Erin Darke for over a decade, recently admitted during a conversation with moderator Josh Horowitz at an event at the 92nd Street Y in New York City that his partner is “a huge part” of his happiness.
Talking about her return to Broadway, Daniel said, “One of the most impactful parts of the show, for me, is the moment when I’m talking about my love and I’m talking about how well they know me. There’s something about really being known, understood, and seen by another human being. That’s why love exists.”
And the actor said Erin “has obviously been a huge part of my happiness.”
Reflecting on his ups and downs during his early 20s, Daniel shared that he is now in a much better place with Erin and their son.
He added, “There have been moments in my life, in my late teens and early 20s, when I was really sad and scared and didn’t know what the future held for me or how I would see my life. I never believed then that I would experience the happiness that I do now with my partner, with my son, and with my life in general.”
