Khloe Kardashian is upset that Lamar Odom is “faking” his memoir of the events of their whirlwind romance on Netflix.
Controversy erupted after the basketball star questioned several key moments of the reality star’s account in Untold: The Death and Life of Lamar Odom while on his deathbed in 2015.
Specifically, they were claims of Odom’s father refusing life support and attributing his recovery to God, with no mention of his ex-wife.
Kardashian gushed over him on her Khloe in Wonderland podcast, saying, “I think the thing that bothers me is that we did it, it’s all good. I’m done with it. I’m like, I’m never going to do anything like Lamar again, because I’m just cool.”
She adds, “But now Lamar is doing press (and saying he’s) angry at me. Claiming or insinuating that I’m a liar, doing all these things, defaming me, and saying I wasn’t the one who helped him.”
Kardashian revealed that Odom and her team asked her to be a part of the Netflix documentary.
“Everyone was like, ‘No, this is amazing. This is going to be really positive. He’s the one doing it. He’s the one asking,'” she recalls, adding that they thought about the project for months before agreeing.
Kardashian, shocked by Odom’s claims, further hit back, saying, “I willingly do Netflix work for Lamar. I’m not getting paid a dime to do it.”
“I don’t have a dog in this fight. I don’t care if this documentary gets made or not. I don’t care. And it’s not even something I really want to talk about anymore.”
“I just told the story you asked me to tell, but to now have it in front of me, to like, and to now act as if I didn’t do everything I did and insinuate that I’m a liar is crazy. I feel like I’ve been messed with.”
Kardashian is upset that she says Odom is rewriting the support she received during her difficult days.
