Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are known for their ever-confusing branding strategy.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who are currently in Australia for their semi-royal tour, have us in awe of their constant self-promotion.
Speaking about the couple’s latest moves, expert Ellie Fry writes for the Mirror: “The Sussexes are currently touring Down Under, giving the Aussie a full show of self-promotion. They’ve dismissed the critics with cute matching outfits and big smiles, but I fear this quasi-royal tour may prove to be the last nail in the coffin for their badly misguided brand.”
The expert adds: “The gap between their professional lives has never been bigger. While Prince Harry is banging the usual drumbeat about his family’s trauma – insisting somewhat harshly that he wants to be a better father than King Charles – Meghan has been busy filming an episode of MasterChef.”
She adds: “The Duchess has been acting as a guest judge, ‘mentoring’ and ‘guiding’ contestants on MasterChef Australia.
“Why is she playing Greg Wallace now? As far as I know, Meghan has no more expert qualifications than hot sauce mastermind Brooklyn Beckham,” she says.
