Rohit Sharma was one of the standout performers for Mumbai Indians in this season of the competition. The former MI captain also topped the Orange Cap list on one occasion after the second game against Delhi Capitals.
However, the MI opener had to leave the field after he struggled with a serious hamstring injury. He left the field, retired hurt, but it cost the team a lot as the Hardik Pandya-led side lost the game by a close margin of 18 runs.

He underwent scans and his availability for Mumbai Indians’ upcoming matches is very uncertain. Now, as per the latest reports from NDTV, he is likely to miss the next two matches for Mumbai Indians.
Mumbai Indians’ next two matches in Tata IPL 2026 are scheduled to be played on April 16 and 20 against Punjab Kings and Gujarat Titans. Both these matches will also be part of rivalry week.
