Hemax has announced an upcoming membership program called Hemax First Which they briefly describe as “fly first, earn later”. Just like Buy Now Play Later (BNPL) lets you get some advance and pay the bills over the next few months, Hemax First allows members to earn miles first, book their desired flight, and earn miles back later.
It’s certainly an interesting proposition, but it comes with equally interesting disadvantages. Even though, from the first 10,000 waiting list for program Get a discount on the subscription fee for the first year and I don’t see any harm in securing a spot to try it out when it launches.

When Hemax users sign up for Hemax First, they choose the membership level to join. Each tier varies based on the number of miles accessible, membership fee per year, and access fee per mile:
