The eldest member of the K-pop group, BTS, Jin reclaimed his World Wide Handsome title, claiming that he is the best looking among all the members of his band, which he once gave himself.
The 33-year-old singer, whose real name is Kim Seokjin, thinks his bandmates Jimin, RM, Suga, J-Hope, V and Jung Kook are all good-looking guys, but jokes that physical appearance is the attribute where he comes out on top.
he told rolling stone magazine, “I think I’m lucky. I think I’m more beautiful than the other members. Even though everyone is so beautiful. I must have at least one thing in the group that I’m the best at.”
Jin is the oldest member of the group and admitted that he “doesn’t move as well” as his bandmates, so pushes himself to work even harder, even when the dance routines seem more difficult than ever.
“I think it’s always harder physically. While it’s true that the same moves may seem a little more difficult now, it’s just a burden for me to bear,” he admitted, “For the audience, I need to display myself in top form. So, I have to work harder.”
Jin continued, “To be honest, I know I don’t move as well as the other members. So, I always come early to practice, or stay late to practice. I still do that.”
super tuna The artist insisted that his bandmates do not “treat” him like an elder nor is he treated like the oldest in the group.
He said, “I’m the eldest, but within the team, the members don’t really… treat me like the eldest? Is it weird to say that? I think they don’t treat me like the eldest. Nor do I treat them like one.”
“But when they’re being totally friendly, calling me brother, and they’re being casual with me, that’s what I like the most. I guess the flipside is that I don’t like when they get overly casual? Like when they slap my butt, for example. I would say that’s my least favorite part,” Jin hilariously revealed.
butter The hitmaker has noticed a “difference” between how he feels now and how he felt a decade ago and admitted that the other members of BTS didn’t really understand the challenges that come with aging until he started experiencing them himself.
“Let me tell you what a fellow member once said to me. He said, ‘Jin, if you’re having trouble, you can try harder and get over it!’ And he’s about two, three years younger than me, right? He came back to me after two, three years and said, ‘Wow, how bad did you feel at this age? “I had no idea,” Jin said, describing the struggles of growing older.
