If you have an Xbox Series Xbox April 2026 system update is being releasedWhich comes with some new features to the user interface as well as the usual functionality.
With this in mind, the update comes with new Toggle quick resumeWhich allows users to disable the feature for specific titles. PLayers can now exit Quick Resume for individual games, a change that addresses issues with “always-online” titles that often encounter connection errors when resuming from a suspended state.
For the Home dashboard, users can now pin up to 10 custom groups and 10 individual games directly to their main screen, making it easier to organize larger libraries. This visual change also extends to the system’s aesthetics with a new “Custom Color” menu, which lets players choose a unique accent color that will be displayed throughout the Xbox Guide.
The update also adds a dedicated Play History tab within the “My Games & Apps” section, which will show recently played titles from console, PC, and cloud gaming in a single view. Additionally, Microsoft is introducing a save file indicator that will give real-time feedback on whether a game’s data is fully synced to the cloud, is currently syncing, or is experiencing a conflict on another device.
