Taylor Swift is excited about her friendship with actress Dakota Johnson.
In a new essay published in TimesThe ‘Life of a Showgirl’ singer spilled rare details about her relationship with the ’50 Shades of Grey’ star, who has been listed as one of the TimeThe 100 most influential people of 2026.
Taylor praised Dakota’s genuineness, writing, “Being her friend, I can attest to her genuineness.”
But it’s not only Dakota’s authenticity that Taylor has noticed, the ‘Materialists’ star is also one of the kindest and most sensitive people the pop star has met.
“He is one of the most empathetic people I have ever known,” she said.
The ‘Oplight’ artist is also impressed by Dakota’s “refreshing honesty in a world of media-trained answers”.
“Maybe it’s her singing, so calmly answering questions with such candor that makes you feel like maybe this girl…can’t lie?!” Taylor continued.
Sharing hidden characteristics about Dokata, Taylor further said, “Maybe it’s true that she can’t lie. But I’ll tell you a few more things she can’t. She can’t stop asking people questions about their lives, is extremely curious about everyone’s human experience.”
The Grammy winner added, “She can’t stop challenging herself, taking new and bold risks, like creating her own production company, Teatime Pictures. She can’t stop exploring the complexities of even the most complicated relationship.”
