Christina Applegate has been “hospitalized” as her ongoing battle with multiple sclerosis (MS) worsens.
sources told tmz The 54-year-old actress was admitted to the hospital late last month, but the reason is not yet known.
Applegate representative told daily Mail“I have no comment on whether he is in hospital or what his medical treatment is.”

According to the Mayo Clinic, multiple sclerosis causes the immune system to attack the protective sheath covering nerve fibers, known as myelin. The disease can cause “numbness, weakness, trouble walking, vision changes, and other symptoms.”
