The Galaxy A-series is a major volume driver for Samsung, and with the Galaxy A37 and A57 announcements already in the rear-view mirror, it’s time to turn our attention to the Galaxy A27, which is expected to launch in the coming months. The device was already spotted in a few rumors and Geekbench listings, and now we have the first live look at its design thanks to a batch of detailed CAD renders.
The design is in line with what we saw on the A37 and A57, with a flat display and a vertically aligned camera island with three sensors. Previous rumors suggest we’ll see a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro cam.

Based on the renders, the Galaxy A27 will measure 162.3 x 78.6 x 7.9mm, making it slightly smaller and wider than its predecessor and only 0.2mm thicker. It will reportedly feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, which is once again expected to offer FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

We also know that the Galaxy A27 will launch with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chip paired with 6GB of RAM. In terms of battery capacity and charging speed, we can assume that Samsung will once again go with a 5,000 mAh cell and 25W charging like the previous three generations of Galaxy A2X models.
