Islamabad United’s overseas players Devon Conway, Richard Gleeson and Andries Goss recently traveled to Dubai during a short season break on April 18. The trio used the gap between their Pakistan Super League matches to spend their time playing golf at the Majlis course of the Emirates Golf Club.
In their recent match, Islamabad United defeated Karachi Kings by eight wickets with four overs to spare. The team put in a great performance at the National Bank Stadium on Thursday, 16 April. Captain Shadab Khan confidently led the team to its fourth win in the ongoing tournament.

Islamabad United players Devon Conway, Richard Gleeson and Andries Goss were seen enjoying a short break in Dubai on April 18, 2026, during the break in the PSL 2026 schedule. The trio used the break to rest before their next match.
Richard Gleeson shared a story on Instagram showing the group at the Majlis course at Emirates Golf Club. In the post, he thanked Aaron Lilley for “sorting them out” while the players posed for photos with golf clubs in front of the city skyline.
Islamabad United’s next match is against Rawalpindi on 23 April at the National Stadium in Karachi. The short break gives players time to rest and refresh before returning to action.

Karachi Kings struggled to build momentum on the spin-friendly surface and ended at 150 for six. Reeza Hendricks scored unbeaten 51 off 44 balls, while Jason Roy added 39 off 27. Azam Khan contributed 34 runs as Islamabad bowlers maintained tight control throughout the innings.
Chasing the target of 151 runs, Islamabad United made a strong start. Devon Conway and debutant Sameer Minhas made a strong start with 93 runs in 10 overs. Minhas scored 58 runs in 36 balls with the help of 10 fours, while Conway remained unbeaten on 53 runs in 36 balls.
Shadab Khan ensured a comfortable finish with an unbeaten 31 off 16 balls. He hit a six against Adam Zampa and two more sixes against Hasan Ali. Islamabad United scored 153 runs for 2 wickets in 16 overs and easily completed the chase.
In PSL 2026, Peshawar Zalmi top the table with 13 points and an impressive net run rate of +2.404, registering six wins and one no result. Islamabad United are in second place with nine points and a net run rate of +1.481.
Multan Sultans are in third place with eight points and a net run rate of +0.527. Quetta Gladiators are placed fourth with six points and a net run rate of +0.483. Hyderabad Kingsmen also have six points but are in fifth place due to a negative net run rate of -0.470 after seven matches.
Karachi Kings are in sixth place with six points and a net run rate of -1.501. Lahore Qalandars are placed seventh with four points and a net run rate of -1.020. Rawalpindi are at the bottom without any win with zero points and a net run rate of -1.821.
