Samsung’s Galaxy Z Trifold lived a short and tumultuous life. It was sold in Korea several times in very limited quantities and then discontinued there. It was short-lived in the US – it was last in stock there on April 10th. Obviously, that stock was also sold.
Today we also bid farewell to the Galaxy Z Trifold in the US. After its closure in Korea, it has now been closed in America also. Or to quote Samsung’s official page listing, “The limited run Galaxy Z Trifold is now completely sold out”.
Samsung further says that you should keep visiting its website “to ensure you don’t miss the upcoming unique innovations”. It then recommends you buy the Galaxy Z Fold7 or Galaxy S26 Ultra. Both of these are excellent choices, but neither of them turns twice.

Hopefully Trifold 2, if ever realized, will be longer-lived than its predecessor. A recent rumor claimed that it would arrive in 2027, being thinner and lighter than the original. It can also be connected to sliding-screen (aka rollable screen) smartphones. The future is bright, but the Galaxy Z Trifold is now completely dead.
