Hollywood star Natalie Portman is expecting her third child at the age of 44.
Speaking to Harper’s Bazaar, the actress said she is “so grateful” to welcome a child with her partner Tanguy Destable, 45, a French electronic music producer better known by his stage name Tapr.
“Tangi and I are very excited,” he told the outlet. “I’m so grateful. I know it’s a privilege and a miracle.”
The actor has two grown children, son Aleph, 14, and daughter Amalia, 9, with ex-husband Benjamin Millepied. Portman and Millepied divorced in 2024.
Benjamin Millepied made headlines in 2023 when he allegedly had an affair with a much younger woman, Camille Etienne.
Portman’s publicist Kelly Morgan confirmed the pregnancy news but did not provide further details.
Portman has described how she grew up as the child of a fertility doctor.
“I grew up hearing how hard it was to get pregnant,” she told Harper’s Bazaar. “I have so many people I love who have had such a hard time with it that I want to be respectful of that, too. It’s a beautiful, joyful thing, and it’s not an easy thing either.”
She also said she felt good physically, “have more energy than I thought.”

Tanguy Destable is a French musician, DJ, and music producer who has been in a relationship with Natalie Portman since early 2025.
He has two sons, Étienne, 10, and Vadim, six, from a previous relationship with French actress Louise Bourgoin.
He was part of the experimental hip-hop/electronic duo Abstract Kiel Agram (2000–2006), which opened for acts such as Katy Perry.
