Zayn Malik has reportedly punched his fellow singer Louis Tomlinson in the face during a fierce fight on the set of a Netflix documentary.
According to The Sun, the fight allegedly erupted when the ‘Sideways’ singer made negative comments about Louis’ mother, Johanna Deakin, who breathed her last in 2016. This exchange increased the tension between the two singers.
“It turned into a controversy when Zayn made a comment about Louise’s mom Johanna,” the insider told the outlet.
The confidant added, “Louis was stunned and in shock. As he moved forward, Zayn attacked him. Zayn punched him straight in the face. Because he was wearing rings, it caused Louis to decapitate him.”
A tipster added, “She was pulled over and Louis was taken for medical attention. He was hurt. It happened in front of so many people. It was shocking.”
According to the source, Zayn and Louis’ tense feud led to their Netflix documentary being canceled.
The shocking news comes after Zayn announced that he has been admitted to the hospital due to a mystery illness on Friday.
“To my fans – thank you all for your love and support now and always – it’s been a long week and still recovering unexpectedly,” the 33-year-old singer wrote on his Instagram Stories on Friday.
Zayn shared a photo of himself lying in a hospital bed, saying, “Heartbroken that I couldn’t see you all this week, without you guys I wouldn’t be where I am today and so grateful for your understanding.”
