Comedian Dapper Laughs is speaking out after Katie Price criticized him for allegedly making fun of her disabled son.
The former glamor model was furious at the comedian and asked her to cancel him after Dapper took a dig at Katie’s eldest son Harvey Price during one of his shows.
It is noteworthy that Katie’s 23-year-old son is from former footballer Dwight Yorke. Harvey suffers from a rare genetic disorder, Prader-Willi syndrome, autism and blindness.
Dapper, whose real name is Daniel O’Reilly, decided not to respond directly to Katie’s comment and advised his fan to change his mindset in a video.
The social media content creator began, “Happy Monday! It’s a brand new week – don’t start with the same mindset you ended last week on. Move it, fuck it, let it go. Whoever is putting you down, fuck you.”
He added, “Change it, change your perspective. Get everything you’re thinking about and worrying about out of the way and focus on the positive things in your life.”
He further said that he was thinking about all the “beautiful things” in life today and decided to “stay away from worries.”
“Why don’t you do the same?” He added.
“Please try to stop this…put yourself first,” she concluded her post, before clarifying in another story that “Kate” was a typo.
The comedian also posted a screenshot of his lock screen set with the wallpaper, which read, “Don’t worry about calming the storm. Calm yourself, the storm will pass.”
Katie, who is known for being protective of her family, posted on her Instagram account over the weekend after she was told that Dapper had taken a dig at her son on one of his shows.
“So, I heard that last night @dappersinstagram made a joke about my son Harvey again and then said pretend I didn’t say anything or I’ll cancel again,” she wrote.
Katie continued, “He does charity football games for kids and of course he has kids of his own. Using his son with complex needs and not being able to defend himself for a joke makes this guy a disgusting human being, so I think he’ll be canceled for everything.”
The mother of five also posted a following story on Dapper’s Instagram account to report “Harvey bullying.”
