Marines are shown landing on an Iranian tanker from a US aircraft as it neared the Strait of Hormuz.
In the clip, a helicopter can be seen circling the ship before the marines enter.
The US took “full custody” of the cargo ship in the Gulf of Oman, the first interception since the blockade began on Monday.

“On April 19, guided-missile destroyer USS Spruance (DDG 111) disabled Tosca’s propulsion after Marines stormed the Iranian-flagged ship after the commercial ship failed to comply with repeated warnings from U.S. forces over a six-hour period.”

The US president posted on his social media platforms: “Today, an Iranian-flagged cargo ship named TOUSKA, approximately 900 feet long and weighing almost the same as an aircraft carrier, tried to bypass our naval blockade, and it didn’t go well for them.”
He said: “The Iranian crew refused to listen, so our navy ship stopped them in their tracks by blowing a hole in the engine room.”
