iOS 27 will be unveiled at WWDC on June 8, and a new leak indicates that the software update may drop support for four iPhone models. here are the details.
iOS 27 may not support iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and others

We’re getting closer to Apple’s big iOS 27 unveiling at WWDC. The latest rumors this weekend focused on Siri’s redesign and a possible home screen feature.
Other key iOS 27 rumored features include a major overhaul of Siri, Liquid Glass design changes, and more.
But will your iPhone support the new update?
Some years Apple reduces compatibility for older iPhone models, while other times it does not. But a new leak indicates that will change with iOS 27.
tomorrow weibo leaker instant digital posted full list All iOS 27-supported iPhone models are claimed to be supported.
Four models that can run iOS 26 are missing from the list:
- iPhone 11 Pro Max
- iPhone 11 Pro
- iPhone 11
- iPhone SE (2nd generation)
According to the leaker’s post, iOS 27 will require an iPhone 12 or later. And while iOS 26 supports the second-generation iPhone SE, the new update will only run on the iPhone SE 3 or later.
If this proves to be true, it would mark the first of two consecutive years that Apple has omitted multiple iPhone models from its major iOS updates. Last year the iPhone XS generation was missed.
Many of the tentpole features of iOS 27 are expected to include Apple Intelligence. And those features will require an iPhone 15 Pro or later. So even though your iPhone may still be running iOS 27, it may or may not support all the upcoming features.
Would you be surprised if Apple removed the iPhone 11 line from supporting iOS 27? Let us know in the comments.
