Anne Hathaway has finally confirmed it the princess diaries 3 Is in the works.
talking to Entertainment Weekly, The 43-year-old actress revealed that she is “continuously working” to bring the third installment of the comedy film to the silver screen.
“One hundred percent, we’re constantly working on it,” Anne said.
“(The Devil Wears Prada 2) came out unexpectedly and took over,” she added, “making it impossible to focus on both at the same time.”
Now, Anna has confirmed that “we intend to make The Princess Diaries next time.”
The actress further said that she feels “everybody wants (the next installment),” so she and her team are “working on the script.”
Anne said, “If I’ve learned anything from (The Devil Wears Prada 2), it’s that the expectations are very, very high, and if you’re going to do it, you have to knock it out of the park.”
For those unaware, Anna first appeared as Mia Thermopolis princess diary Movies. Following the success of the first film, the actress reprized her role in the 2004 sequel.
Additionally, Anne is currently preparing for the release of her new film, The Devil Wears Prada 2. The much-awaited film will be released in theaters on May 1.
