King Charles is facing fresh calls to take action after Meghan Markle came under fire over claims he used his children’s royal titles commercially.
The Duchess of Sussex launched Mother’s Day candles under her As Ever brand, which included products associated with her children’s titles, including “Prince Archie of Sussex natalie” and “Princess Lilibet of Sussex natalie”.
Social media critics say it goes against the promises she and Prince Harry made when they stepped back from royal duties in 2020.
Harry and Meghan agreed not to use their royal status for profit. However, Meghan’s latest move goes against this.
One critic on Radar Online.
Another criticized the duchess, writing, “She’s literally selling her kids’ titles because she has nothing else. How insulting is that?”
“Come on, Charles, this is so wrong,” a third urged the monarch to take action against Meghan. “Selling the title once again.”
Another commented, “I don’t understand why the King doesn’t do the right thing and remove the Sussexes’ titles. They are doing the same thing Her Majesty refused to allow and it looks like Casey is going along with all this.”
“I leave that weak, feeble king. He had more courage to betray Diana than to stop these rioters on the street.”
