Barring huge fluctuations in net run rate, Zalmi is unlikely to slip from the top-two spot. They have won all seven of their matches played with one washout. The Kings’ defeat after four consecutive defeats has left little hope of making it to the top four.
Zalmi’s charge has been on brilliant batting Babar Azam and Kusal Mendis. The Kings’ collapse was caused by injury and illness to two key players, leaving David Warner and Hasan Ali. Warner remains a doubt with a back problem while Hasan should be back at full strength.
One wonders what will happen to Zalmi if a team loses both Babar and Kusal cheaply. The rest barely needed to bat. Babar had last scored a century in 52 balls against Quetta.
Still, the consistency in scoring runs is hard to ignore. And it would be wise to assume that this will continue, especially since the Lahore surface was better for batting than Karachi. It seems that changes in locations have not been taken into account in the total run lines. It would have made more sense to support Zalmi’s over-171.5 if the teams were still playing on Karachi’s worn-out surface.
Babar is 12/53.40 Another top Zalmi bat for the win and 7/24.50 for top match bat. With regard to the latter, Quetta has nothing much to beat, especially if Warner is missing again. Warner is 9/52.80 But it is difficult to support him given the fitness concerns. However, if there are those who are looking for a reason to play, they have found it too late for a top-bat win.
Zalmi scored more than 171.5 total match runs

Hyderabad Kingsmen vs Multan Sultans psl tips
Hyderabad Kingsmen have turned their season around with three consecutive wins. They were locked in a wooden spoon battle with Rawalpindi after losing their first four matches. But this is potentially a tough test as Sultans will probably need a win to confirm a top-two spot. They were playing Pindies on Tuesday.
Barring the win over Pindies last time out, the Kingsmen’s form has been impressive. Defeating Islamabad and Karachi, when they had high expectations, cannot be ruled out. The biggest reason for this change in form is captain Marnus Labuschagne, who is taking responsibility at the top of the order. Glenn Maxwell has now moved into the middle order to bat, although his long-term decline in batting form shows no signs of slowing down.
a player to watch Osman Khan, Whose campaign has been very disappointing. There have been glimpses of the old Usman, who had returned a 40% win rate over top batsmen in the two seasons before this stint. Could he finally rediscover his touch? A five-day break after the last game might have worked. It was painful to see him out for a duck in eight balls against the Pindies.
