The Galaxy Watch 8’s battery life also lags a bit behind some of the best smartwatches for battery life, and the health tracking capabilities, while impressive, aren’t as comprehensive or accurate as some fitness watches.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 is good at many things, but it’s only great at a few. Also, admittedly there are some minor issues with the watch, but no real serious issues that will make you regret your purchase. That’s why I insist on wearables balance.
If you’re looking for your first smartwatch, the Galaxy Watch 8 is a wonderful choice. If you need something extremely powerful or a watch that is built for a specific purpose, you may want to keep looking. Luckily, if that’s the case, Samsung has several other watches worth considering.
