Meryl Streep’s memoir isn’t coming soon, and the devil Wears Prada The star is expressing her thoughts on why she’s not interested.
​On Monday, April 21 oscar-The winning star made his appearance front row with SiriusXMHost Andy Cohen to promote the upcoming sequel to the fashion film.
​During the conversation, Andy asked Meryl if she planned to write a memoir.
​”Will we ever get a memoir from you?” Andy asked.
​Merrill, who also included T.the devil wears prada 2 Costars Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci immediately responded and said, “No, no.”
Andy quipped, “Okay, and you’ll answer it very quickly.”
When asked why he was not keen on writing a book on his life experiences, he replied, “Too boring. Really.”
Stanley, who has published three cookbooks so far, exclaimed after Merrill pointed it out to him, “Yeah, trust me.”
​But Meryl has enjoyed memoirs by other celebrities, including Barbra Streisand’s “brilliant” 2023 memoir My Name Is Barbra, which she “definitely” enjoyed. Although he did not read it, as he noted, “What am I, crazy? I heard it, which was the only way.”
Meryl is reprising her role in the upcoming installment the devil Wears Prada, Which is all set to release in theaters on May 2.
