In the match number 32 between Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) at Ekana Stadium, Lucknow. LSG captain Rishabh Pant won the toss and decided to bowl first. RR had a good start after being invited to bat first. However, Mohammed Shami gave the team a comeback by taking two wickets in two consecutive balls.
However, as for Yashasvi Jaiswal’s first wicket, it was more Rishabh Pant’s wicket as he took a brilliant one-handed catch to dismiss his Indian teammate behind the stumps. When Shami bowled a bouncer, Rishabh Pant flew over his head with one hand, which was caught by Jaiswal and Pant did the rest to give the team the first success.
Rishabh Pant and Mohammed Shami together took two wickets
Mohammed Shami is scoring runs once again after a poor performance in the last match, as he bowled in the right area, and after hitting three consecutive fours, he made a strong comeback against Jaiswal, and on the next ball, Dhruv Jurel also hit a four to Rishabh Pant.
Rishabh Pant has not had a good performance with the bat as he has scored just one half-century in the tournament and questions are also being raised on his captaincy, which has seen a lot of experimentation at the top of the order.
After taking the first two wickets in the next over, Mohsin Khan dismissed Vaibhav Suryavanshi, after which southpaw RR are now in trouble at 32/3.
