Introduction
What would you get if a smartphone maker and a sports car designer worked together? The Infinix Note 60 Ultra, apparently. With Pininfarina’s race aesthetic efficiency and Infinix’s risk-taking propensity, we’ve got a unique offering that comes in a one-of-a-kind bundle.
The Infinix Note 60 Ultra is the natural continuation of the Note Pro series, boldly stepping into flagship killer territory.
The Note 60 is an eye-catcher with ultra slim display bezels, a unique back design with metal frame and carbon fiber pattern, dot matrix display and a floating taillight red LED, which is the cherry on the cake of this design.
The phone features a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with 1,208p resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and HDR support. At the heart of the Ultra is the Dimensity 8400 Ultra chip with 12GB of LPDDRX5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage – a solid hardware for solid oomph under the hood.

The camera department is the best that Infinix has offered so far – 200MP 1/1.4-inch Samsung LTE main sensor with 2x lossless zoom, Samsung JN5 1/2.76-inch sensor with 3.5x periscope zoom, 8MP AF 112° ultra-wide and a 32MP 4K-capable selfie shooter.
The Note 60 Ultra is powered by a 7,000mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging, with bypass, reverse wired, and reverse wireless charging options available to you.
There’s a lot more to know about this Note 60 Ultra, so let’s dive into the specifications and get this review started.

We would have liked to see full ingress protection rather than the basic IP64 splash resistance rated. And that’s the only thing we can think of that’s missing at the spec sheet level.
Unboxing the Infinix Note 60 Ultra
Sit down for one of the most interesting unboxing experiences we’ve seen in quite some time!
The Infinix Note 60 Ultra comes in a large black box, shaped like a cube with sides about 30 cm tall. The box has a pleasant cloth-like finish and two snap locks on the sides. You can immediately tell that this is a special edition device.
Once you’ve got those locks open, you can remove the top and then split the package into two large compartments.
And there are lots of goodies inside. The basics are covered – the phone is here, there’s a 100W power adapter, a USB cable, and even a USB-C pair of earbuds and a track-edition SIM ejector.

You also get a MagSafe-enabled case and a glass screen protector with the install kit.

Here comes the best part. The bundle also includes a round 50W magnetic wireless charger from Infinix with a carbon-fibre pattern. You can (and you should!) install this pad on a supercar-shaped base made of zinc alloy and carbon-fiber-imitating plastic. There’s a special placeholder for the charging puck at the top and a clever hideout for the USB cable at the bottom.

The case fits beautifully onto this car-sized charger and every night you enjoy how the two click together and rest on your desk/nightstand.

One thing we should keep in mind is that the MagSafe case is extremely rigid, putting it on the phone is a nightmare and removing it is even worse. Each of these operations was a test of its bending ability, and the sounds of breaking were quite disconcerting. The designers should have known better.
