Meghan Markle has been accused of being wildly out of touch after claiming to be “the most trolled person in the entire world” for a decade.
The Duchess of Sussex made the claims while speaking to students at Melbourne’s Swinburne University of Technology during a discussion on mental health on her Australian visit with Prince Harry.
“And I can talk about it really personally, which is why I love hearing that, because it rings true for me in a very real way,” the Duchess of Sussex began.
She added, “Now, for 10 years, every day, for 10 years, I’ve been bullied and attacked. And I was the most trolled person in the entire world.”
“Now, I’m still here,” Meghan said.
Commenting on his speech, sky news australia Host Rita Panahi mocked Meghan, saying, “The confusion is very strong with this one.”
The journalist said, “Meghan’s claim that she has been the most trolled person in the last decade is strong.”
Adding to this, royal commentator Kinsey Scofield also mentioned that Meghan’s claim is not true and pointed out that studies have previously shown that Kate Middleton was the most trolled royal in 2024.
He said earlier research showed that singer Adele topped the global trolling list in 2019.
