Prince William and Kate Middleton are celebrating another trip around the sun for their youngest son, Prince Louis.
The Prince and Princess of Wales celebrated Louis’ 8th birthday with a sweet tribute on their official Instagram account on Thursday, April 23.
In a celebratory post, the proud parents posted a recent picture of the birthday boy looking all grown up.
Expressing love for Louis, William and Kate captioned the post, “Happy birthday, Louis! Today is the 8th!”
In the picture, Louis can be seen smiling while crossing his arms over his chest while wearing a blue sweater over a shirt of the same color.
This photo appears to have been taken during a walk on the beach on a cool day.
It is worth mentioning that William and Kate are also parents to 10-year-old daughter Princess Charlotte and 12-year-old elder son Prince George.
It comes after Kate and William stepped out of the public eye in early April to spend some quality time with their children during the school holidays.
Speaking to Fox News Digital, royal expert Ian Pelham Turner said, “William and Kate have traditionally taken time out during their children’s school holidays to try to make their upbringing as normal as possible.”
The expert added, “There has clearly been a lot of stress on the children’s lives due to Kate’s previous cancer diagnosis. And like everyday parents, they want to create as many positive and happy memories as possible for the family.”
